As an attorney in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, Brian works on a variety of general litigation matters with an emphasis on product liability defense. His proactive approach lends itself to identifying the pivotal issues early in the litigation process, developing a defense strategy, and working toward favorable results for his clients. Brian has considerable experience conducting discovery, including drafting written discovery and taking and defending depositions. He has both drafted and argued a wide array of pre-trial motions and has handled several mediations.

    • Obtained favorable settlement for Fortune 500 Company in wrongful-death action regarding catastrophic injury on client’s premises.
    • Represented and negotiated settlement for insured-landlords in wrongful death and survival action brought by tenant.
    • Prepared insureds’ post-trial motion opposing California Department of Forestry’s motion for statutorily-permitted attorneys’ fees, reducing recoverable fees by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
