Schiff Hardin LLP is proud to announce that the firm and four of its attorneys have been ranked in the 2021 edition of IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals, a guide that identifies top patent professionals based on 1,800 interviews with private practice and in-house professionals.
Schiff was ranked in the competitive Illinois jurisdiction for its work in patent litigation. The 2021 IAM 1000 guide said that the firm’s lawyers are “closely associated with victory on the generic side of Hatch-Waxman litigation.”
Intellectual Property Practice Group Co-Leaders Imron Aly and Sailesh Patel and partner Kevin Nelson were recognized on the individual level. The guide quoted client feedback that Imron is a “renowned patent litigator with a unique ability to break down the most complex scientific concepts and build strong litigation positions.” Sal was recognized as a “trial dynamo who gets everything right” and for taking on challenging matters for clients. In addition, Patent Prosecution Group Leader Laura Brutman, was highlighted for her quality patent prosecution work in New York for building “longstanding relationships with major players in diverse areas such as industrial manufacturing, computer technology and semiconductors…”
