While we have opened offices across the country and represented clients around the globe, Schiff Hardin proudly traces its roots to the City of Big Shoulders. Schiff Hardin clients dot our storied skyline, compete in our hallowed stadiums, and transport our resilient citizens.

Housed in the firm’s largest office, our Chicago attorneys represent individuals, private businesses, public corporations, and government agencies in our hometown and across the country. We handle high-stakes litigation and complex transactions in virtually every area of law, including antitrust, tax, white collar crime, finance, product liability, intellectual property, energy, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, environmental, and trusts and estates.

And our hometown pride runs deep—from our storefront legal clinic in East Rogers Park to our storied history with Northwestern University’s Center on Wrongful Convictions, we serve our community as passionately as we serve our clients. The American Bar Association, Chambers USA, Martindale-Hubbell, Illinois Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, Crain’s, and Law360 are just a few of the organizations recognizing our attorneys’ professional and charitable efforts.

Located on the 71st floor of the iconic Willis Tower, our Chicago office is the cornerstone of the firm’s inclusive culture and dedicated client service.
